Privacy notice

How the UWH Security Cloud handles registration and monitoring data.

What is collected

When you register a website, the Cloud records the website label, domain and contact email. Connected Guardian installations may send security score, threat counts, protection status, software versions, scan date, plugins/themes inventory counts, pending update counts, quarantine counts and selected PHP/WordPress environment health indicators. No file contents or database rows are sent.

Why this information is used

To register and validate site connections, present security status to the platform administrator, investigate issues and secure the service.

Optional administrator access

Remote WordPress login is disabled by default. Only a WordPress administrator can enable it in the Guardian plugin and select a local administrator account. The private Cloud administrator must confirm their Cloud password for each signed, short-lived login. This does not authorize visitors to access either administration area.

Access & retention

Monitoring details and private contact information are available only to the configured administrator. Reports and logs are stored in private server storage. An administrator can remove a site and its reporting history.

Credentials

Shared connection secrets are displayed once at registration. The Cloud stores a non-reversible digest of each secret. Never disclose your Shared Secret publicly.
